TITLE:  Improving the Performance of
Waste to Energy and Biomass Power Plant

SYNOPSIS

Presentation will be focussed upon areas in which WtE & Biomass power plant performance can be improved. In particular it will examine how plant throughput can be increased, steam and power generated increased, Boiler efficiency improved and how the effects of corrosion within boilers can be cost effectively be minimised.

Dave Richardson has worked in the field of process automation for some 35 years.During that time Dave has specialised in the optimization and performance improvement of many processes across industries including printing, mineral processing and power.generation.During the last 12 years Dave has specialised in the performance, operation, and profitability improvement of WtE and Biomass plants.

Dave is responsible for the development of the Yokogawa solution portfolio for improving the performance of WtE and Biomass plants throughout Europe.

Dave lives in Cornwall and when not travelling makes the most of the environment in which he lives
