Celebrating Tomorrow's Engineers Week

Tomorrow’s Engineers Week runs from 10^th – 14^th November and aims to inspire young people towards a career in engineering. The theme this year is ‘Dare to Discover’, celebrating those that have taken an unconventional path into the industry and how true innovation can emerge from setbacks, experimentation and perseverance.

Our Women in Measurement, Automation and Control (WiMAC) Chair, Claire Jones, has written a fantastic blog on ‘Why you should pursue a career as an application consultant for flow’. Encapsulating the #DaretoDiscover theme, Claire's journey into engineering didn't follow a traditional academic route, instead it was driven by curiosity and a strong desire to understand how things work and how they can be improved.
