Non-invasive Jet Mixing Technology for Pressure Sensitive Sampling Applications
Date: 18th May 2022
Presenter: Gary Potten, Engineering Director, Sensia

The successful implementation of a crude oil custody transfer sampling system is key to achieving a desired measurement uncertainty.  Analysis of thousands of sampling installations worldwide provides practical examples of how operators can be confident that their sampling system will deliver the uncertainty for custody transfer requirements.

This presentation will discuss the challenges seen by operators, explaining alternative active mixing technology. It will then explain the design process of this innovative new active jet mixing technology, highlighting the choices made and the options available as well as methodology used in the independent verification testing of the non-invasive jet mixer’s performance and the subsequent results.
