Victoria Sheldon - Bell will discuss using the IMecheE EV race classification Entry as an opportunity to design and embed new applications for sensory systems and instrumentation - reengineering the formula student race car for a sustainable future and the role sensors, telemetry systems and data acquisition plays.

Victoria will also talk about the wider implications for the part instrumentation plays in the commercial electric vehicle market, electric assets as a service and for microgrid management.

About the speaker

Victoria is an award-winning founder of Potential Difference Classic & Sports Electrified and an advisory member of the Sheffield Hallam University Formula Student race team.

She was invited into the Utilities Leadership Consortium in 2022 having spent numerous years within the energy sector managing the rollout smart assets, renewable generation and technical compliance assurance and risk management at nPower, nPower Business, business solutions and Drax group. She is also an appointed board trustee and advocate for Youth Employability and Enterprise charities, providing equity in access for youths with disadvantaged backgrounds across the Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire regions.
