Additional information
At the start of the dinner there will be a few toasts, a short speech from a key member of the InstMC and the presentation of prizes to students from University of Manchester and Liverpool John Moores University.
During the evening we will be selling raffle tickets for the prizes that have been donated by various companies and the official evening is scheduled to finish around 11pm with the hotel bar remaining open until the early hours.
The dinner will be a three-course meal followed by our guest speaker Gary Delaney.
Gary loves each and every gag and you can’t help but be carried away by his infectious charm. He’s like a cheeky schoolboy who can barely hide his glee with each and every punch line.
Gary’s the only comic ever to have got two gags in the same top 10 for Dave’s TV Funniest Jokes from the Edinburgh Fringe. He is touring the UK in 2021/22, his last tour was extended four times and took in over 200 venues, he’s the premier gag smith of his generation and through twitter he’s become one of the most followed and quoted comedians in the country.
Drink’s reception will be in the Halle Lounge Bar from 7:00pm and dinner will be served in the adjacent Halle function room from 7:30pm. Event ends at 23:30.
