HSE produces operational guidance for its inspectors on subjects including lightning protection, low integrity instrumented safety systems and cyber security. They are published on HSE’s website, but does the act of publication imply that they are guidance for Dutyholders? Are they yet more standards for industry to deal with? This lecture explains the purpose and scope of Electrical, Control and Cyber Security (ECCS) OGs and presents some examples of their use.
