Speaker: Ken Bowdell
Airbus took on the challenge of the enormous task to design a new super-size aircraft to compete with the Boeing 747, a well-established passenger aircraft that had been flying since 1969. They needed to convince the world’s airlines of the need for a larger, more efficient, and quieter aircraft, the largest passenger airliner in the world.
The talk will outline the development procedures that were in place to ensure all safety standards of operators around the world were met.
