Time: Event begins at 7pm

Speaker: Dr. Graeme Philp

Drones are constantly in the news, for good and bad reasons.

They are used as a stand-off weapon, as a way of improving (and enabling) agriculture, and as a leisure activity.

They may represent the future of logistics. They can kill people, save lives, be a threat to aviation and allow crops to grow in the desert.

In this talk Dr Philp will discuss the contribution of Drones in all its complexity. He will also discuss the technology that allows these complex machines to fly.

Two Drones will be on display for passing around the audience.
