Council

Nominations for members of Council may be made on the form attached to this notice.  Nominations must be signed by the candidate, and by a proposer and seconder.  All three signatories must be corporate members of the Institute in good standing. 

Existing members of Council who retire at the end of 2017 are eligible for re-election for a second term, provided they have not served as members of Council for more than three years continuously.  

Nominations should be submitted by email or post to the Chief Executive to arrive by 30 April 2017.  If more nominations are received than the number of vacancies, a ballot will be held.

Honorary Treasurer

Nominations for the position of Honorary Treasurer of the Institute may be made on the form attached to this notice.  Nominations must be signed by the candidate, and by a proposer and seconder.  All three signatories must be corporate members of the Institute in good standing. 

Nominations should be submitted by email or post to the Chief Executive to arrive by 30 April 2017. Nominations will be scrutinised by the Trustee nominations committee to check that the candidate is a member in good standing and has an appropriate background for the job specification. If more valid nominations are received than the number of vacancies, a ballot will be held. 

The Honorary Treasurer will be formally elected and confirmed at the AGM on 29 June. The Honorary Treasurer will take office at the first Council meeting in 2018, and serve until the last Council meeting in 2020.
