InstMC is delighted to launch a national creative challenge on 28 September 2026, aimed at engineering students and apprentices.

The Measured Futures Challenge invites participants to design an innovative idea, system or prototype using measurement, sensing, data or control to solve a real-world problem.

Registration is now open for entrants to download a pack containing the guidelines, format specifications, example ideas for inspiration, rules and regulations. Click the button above, register your contact details and immediately receive your Challenge pack.

The competition is open to either individuals or a team with a maximum of three participants. Entrants must be 18+ and in either further or higher education, an apprenticeship or an equivalent technical role.
