Synopsis\n\n

The emphasis on using data to drive business efficiency in the industrial sector is continually increasing.\n\n
Given that many cloud based organisations have proven the value of this approach it’s easy to conclude that instrumentation, control and automation should be able to drive efficiencies in this space also.\n\n
This talk intends to address an often hidden challenge when attempting to unlock the value potential from obvious big data sources on our industrial sites – the physical layer of data connectivity including IIoT devices, networks and infrastructure, as well as bp’s recent activity in using robotics platforms to unlock value from these areas.\n\n
