Guide for Safety Instrumented Systems Tue 13 Sep, 2016 (7:00 pm) Presenter: Felix Jajua of PR Electronics Ltd (an InstMC Companion Company)   Content: The presentation will give a guide to Functional Safety Management Assessment and SIL evaluation of instrumented systems under the IEC61508. Some case studies of industrial applications will be used to give an overview on SIL. Refreshments:A freshly prepared, cold food buffet (with soft drinks) will be provided for sustenance before / during / after the lecture. Mainly for this reason, Richard Brown will appreciate advance notice from likely attendees in order to quantify these refreshments sensibly for the number of people present. The cost of these refreshments will be handled through our own, local administration - no charge to attendees.
